  • Please take note that Miraheze's server space is naturally limited. Keep your file uploads small. For file compression, check out sites such as TinyPNG and TinyJPG for PNG and JPEG images respectively, and SVGminify for SVG files.
    • Miraheze is linked to Wikimedia Commons, so you can use their images here. Please refrain from redundant uploads of files or images already in the site.

Writing

This is an encyclopedia and is written in an in-character perspective. Please maintain a neutral, descriptive tone when writing, the official TL and fanfic threads are places for more prose and story-based works. The preferred language used here would be American English, given the context. Do not write about details or topics considered classified or not shown public in-universe, like say, some top secret spy shit or undisclosed human rights violations or something.

Romanizations

The timeline's point of divergence was like, what, a hundred years ago? Lots have changed since then. Especially how we transliterate other languages. Of course, because something something history changed, how we transliterate particular languages will run differently to how this timeline does. For example: perhaps we don't use the modern romaja (로마자) for korean, and use McCune Reischauer instead (ie. compare MC-R Chosŏn vs RR Jeoseon). For consistency ITTL, we're going to follow some standards regarding this:

  • Arabic...
  • Chinese...
  • Filipino...
  • Japanese...
  • Korean...
  • Persian...
  • Slavic languages, like Russian, Ukrainian, Serbo-Croat and Czech...
  • Native American languages...
    • Inuit languages...
